Devanir Campos

Devanir “DC” Campos was pursuing a physics degree in 2003 when he became fascinated with televised poker events. Because there were no formal casino card rooms in Brazil at the time, Devanir decided to do his own research to learn how to conduct a proper tournament. As interest in the game spread quickly DC and his partners launched the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) in 2006.

Today Devanir serves as Managing Director and Head TD of the BSOP. He oversees all structures, regulatory compliance, prizes and general operations of the largest tournaments in the Southern Hemisphere. He has also worked with the largest global poker operators including PokerStrs, BesPoker, Bodog, Enjoy Casinos, Tower Torneos, and Cassino Estoril. An ardent supporter of tournament rule uniformity, DC has attended every TDA Summit since 2009 and been instrumental in drafting some of the most important rules adopted at those Summits. He created a school to help train the next generation of dealers.
