In my view irrespective of players ability, molly cuddling them is more detrimental than what is suggested.

Poker is a game of skill.  Reading the board is a skill.  We, as TDs, should have no interest in helping players to hone those skills. 

Nick, you have a point about chip dumping, but I don't feel that is a true problem here.  Either players bet it all and have to flip up their hands, or one player folds to a bet.  And technically any time a player bets and another player folds to that bet it could be chip dumping.
