Sigh, I guess I've gotten spoiled by G2E. When leaving the convention center, there are "Mark the date" signs for the following year. Right now, their website's home page has a similar "Mark the date" splash page.

Also, with very little effort, you can Google the dates for G2E in 2027 and 2028 as well.

I'm guessing the TDA Summit dates are loosely tied to the dates of the Aria summer poker series, which are also loosely tied to the dates for World Series.

And we all know the WSOP likes to add drama by releasing schedule dates and details a little at a time.

Sigh...

Hello,

Will a summit take place in 2026 ? Any chance to have the date, and any chance that it could be on June 27th & 28th ? I'm planning my (nearly) yearly trip to Vegas actually, ending June 29th if I don't change... it would be a good option for me

Let us know if any news about this.

It in the TDA.
It's just written pretty complicated/confusing.
Which is why I have rewritten and simplified the wording.

But it's currently covered in Rule 43.

Here is an example from the Illustration Addendum:

Example 2:NLHE, Blinds 50-100. Pre-flop A is under the gun and goes all-in for a total of 150 (an increase in the bet of 50). So, we have a 100 blind bet and an all-in wager that increases the total by 50. Which is larger? The 100 is still the "largest bet or raise of the current round", so if B wants to re-raise he must raise at least 100 for a total of 250.

While I've always taught my new dealers the other way, I have no strong feelings either way.

But I'm not gonna change my procedures until it's in the TDA rules.

This is a little confusing and it depends on if this is on the flop or preflop.

This is how I have it written for when I am teaching:


Any raises after the short all-in must be at least the size of last valid bet/raise


Example 1:

• A bets 500, B calls 500, C is all in for 900
• If D wants to raise, they must raise by at least 500 - the last valid bet/raise
• C's raise all in to 900 was only a raise of 400 - not a valid raise

Example 2:

• A bets 500, B raises to 1200, C goes all in for 1500
• If D wants to raise, they must raise by at least the amount of the last valid bet/raise
• The last valid raise was when B raised by 700, therefore D must raise by at least 700 to 2200

Example 3:

• A bets 500, B all in for 900, C all in for 1300, D calls 1300
• If E wants to raise, they must raise by at least 500 - the last valid bet/raise
• The 2 short all in's do not count as raises, the last valid bet/raise was A's initial bet of 500

This is a little confusing and it depends on if this is on the flop or preflop.

If it's preflop then A is raising to 1400 (a 1000 raise)
Which means next raise needs to be at least 1000
B goes all in for 1800
C would have to raise at least 1000 more to 2800

But...

If it's on the flop then A is betting 1400. Which means next raise needs to be at least 1400
B goes all in for 1800
C would need to raise at least 1400 more, so minimum would be 3200


Minimum raise is always determined by the last legal/valid bet amount.
