Thanks, Mike.

Are there plans for a discounted room rate for those attending?  (Maybe our TDA certification will be worth something??  ::) )

Hello everybody!

I've attended the 2009 summit and it was a great experience. Couldn't make it 2011 due to poker operations just started in Venice Casino in Italy but definetly I will be partecipating in the next summit.

Is there any special price for rooming at the Venetian during those days?

Are the dates confirmed? Can I proceed with the bookings?

Look forward to meeting you again all.

Best regards,

Raffaele

Raffaele, great you can attend this year.

...you can proceed with flight bookings. As soon as room discounts, if any, are available they will be announced here. In 2009 they were announced by late March so I'd expect the same this year.

Hi Mike,

Thought I'd pass this along. If it's legit it sounds like a pretty good rate.

Date: 3/07/2013

Subject: Hotel Rooms during the WSOP 2013

If you need a hotel room or know anyone that wants a nice hotel at a great rate for the WSOP 2013 please go to

www.PlayerRooms.com

The LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) is offering a $36 rate plus tax for every night from May 27 - July 19.

Book early there are a limited number fo rooms at that great rate.

The short answer is I don't know for sure. Will investigate that with the room planners and post shortly.

The optional resort fee does include guaranteed in-room internet connectivity. Whether that extends throughout the premises I'm not 100% sure.

At the Rio in 2011 there was public Wi-Fi in and around the conference room but it was limited in total capacity to something like 200 (?) users at any one time. Once the max capacity was hit additional persons couldn't log on. Again not sure if the model is similar at the Venetian but will find out.

Mike - will there be wi-fi in the conference room?

I spoke today with Venetian IT... got these answers:
1: In your hotel room, you can have "Suite Wi-Fi", that seems to be what is included in the internet portion of the extra $22.50 per night (along with Spa access, etc...)
2: On the property, there is "Free Venetian Wi-Fi", with about 2000 (total or per tower?) users who can be accomodated....
3: In the meeting room, there should be wi-fi available for attendees who are logged on to their laptops...

Hope this helps!
