Re-entries and random seating ...
« on: October 16, 2015, 11:51:56 AM »
I just wanted to find out how some of you guys are handling re-entries into your tournaments.

In our current house rules, a player that re-enters can not play at the same table unless it is unavoidable.  I randomly choose a seat from the available seating passes for tables other than the one he came from.

Still random, just doesn't have a chance to go back to the same table, again, if avoidable.

If in the rare instances I have to send a player back to the same table, I try to make sure that they go to a different seat.

How do you guys handle this ?

I do random seating (cards) and if the players end up at the same table it was still a random draw, it will happen.  In short dont have a rules that says you cannot seat at the same seat, but the seat draw is random.
