Veteran TD Johnny Grooms Joins Poker TDA Board

The Poker TDA proudly announces appointment of Johnny Grooms to it's Board of Directors.

Mr. Grooms is one of the most respected and experienced tournament directors in the poker industry and will make a tremendous contribution to the Association. He is currently Poker Room Manager at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. In his 17 year career he's done it all in poker, including serving as TD for numerous World Poker Tour Championships, and the 2005 World Series of Poker.

His first duties will include helping with the planning and moderation of Poker TDA Summit VII, June 26-27 at Aria Resort and Casino, Las Vegas: http://www.pokertda.com/forum/index.php?board=39.0

Welcome to the board, Johnny Grooms. I can't wait for some "new" input on the Discussion Forum...especially from a former dealer.

Is there a reason why our board rarely if ever comments on anything in the forum?  I love the wealth of experience we have from the board but I don't see us benefiting from it in any tangible manner.
