I think that the current rule focuses more on players that have already folded... not disclosing information to active players in the hand. I prefer the language of the WSOP, it separates multi-way pots from head-to-head with completely different meaning.

Are you saying that players should never speak of their holding under any circumstances, whether head-to-head or in multi-way pots?

Do I read your post correctly that "I've got Jacks" is a violation regardless of the player's holding? That's what I think you implied! And if  so, I agree!
