Title: When to remove chips from play on a DQ'd player
Post by: Uniden32 on April 19, 2018, 02:16:36 PM
Weird Situation the other day.  5 way pot, with 3 players all in.  One of the all-in players basically loses it while dealer is trying to sort out the side pots.  Ends up getting DQ'd before the flops comes out.

Once the chips are in the pot, they belong to the pot - and the winner of the hand.

Your poll is missing some options regarding the cards. The chips are in the pot, but the hand is dead and should be mucked. I.E., He cannot win the pot.

Very interesting scenario Ralph!

So, I wouldn't vote for either of the two options currently in your poll.  Instead, all of the chips in the pot would be distributed to the winners with live hands - as Dave said.
