Title: player absence
Post by: David21 on January 28, 2018, 12:13:16 PM
starting on day 2 and missing a little for prizes a player does not show up and gets a prize. Does the prize correspond to you until you finish your sctack or should you withdraw it after a while?

Are you talking about the end of your late registration David ?

I think he means what happens if in day 2 (where I guess there are no more registrations open) a person close to the money is absent.  Also, if the stack should remain in place until it is blinded off or should it be removed after a while.

Being “close to the money” is irrelevant. After all, how would you decide how close is close enough? Similarly, stack size is irrelevant.

There’s no rule stating that an absent player could be penalized merely because of their absence. Therefore, once a player has bought in, they are entitled to be absent as long as they want.

Bottom line, the stack remains in until blinded off. If the stack manages to make it into the money while being blinded off, so be it. The prize money will be set aside until it can be given to the player.

Our policy is that we do not remove the Bags/Receipts from the table until a player shows up or is blinded out.

Thusly, we have the player's information, and will pay the money into the Cage get the winnings to the player when we see them again.
