What it takes to become a perfect TD today?

<< < (2/2)

dn.gardiner:
In my capacity as a TD for Charity Poker Tournaments, my key focus is to be sure the players have fun. I try to keep humour at hand as a tool but resort to firm confident rulings. I beleive the same tools should be used by all TD's. Errogant stuffed shirts will ailianate players and magnify any questionable calls. Do keep in mind that many of our calls will be questionable because of Rule 1.

Nick C:
dn.gardener,
I like your philosophy, and because of it, I'm sure your tournament's are entertaining and enjoyed by all.

Luca P.:
Hello colleagues,
I'm wondering how many of you have a degree, and if so, which one?
Is a degree important for our job?
I'm thinking of getting a degree in Economics and a master degree in Casiṇ&Poker Management at Croupier school.
Do you think this professional career could help a TD to improve?
