Chopped bounty
« on: May 02, 2016, 06:07:47 PM »
Hello guys,

In a Bounty tournament, if two players chopped the pot and KO a 3rd player, who gets the bounty? Or it`s just chopped as well. I looked for the rule in the TDA rules  but did not find this particular case.

Regards
Thank you, Pura Vida

I disagree with this but...

I've seen it ruled that, even though it can be divided, the bounty is treated like an odd chip. I.E. Given to the player to the left of the button.
Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown.
But how much does it cost to knock on wood?

Every property I've worked at we have chopped the bounty.  If the bounty is an odd number (i.e.$25) then the odd $1 goes left of button (i.e. $13&$12).  If it's an even number then the bounty is chopped evenly.
