Title: Single chip with only mouth gesture (yes you read it well)
Post by: Boris on November 22, 2016, 02:25:00 PM
Hello folks,

I experienced the following situation tonight.
Blinds 200/400
First player to act put a single chip of 1k looking at the dealer and whispers with no sound the value of his bet (1k)

What should the dealer do ?

Regards,

Boris

The dealer should do the same thing he would do as if the player did make a sound but the dealer didn't fully understand it. Ask for a clarification.

I'm going to propose "indication of a raise" language for a couple rules at the next summit.  In this instance I agree with Dave: ask for clarification/confirmation.

I will agree if the dealer announces the raise before the next player acts...clarification, like Brian and Dave said.

Can you elaborate on your proposal or did you put in the suggestion topic area?
