Title: 35: Substantial Action
Post by: BillM16 on June 29, 2016, 08:06:16 AM
Should posting the blinds be a noted exception to the rule:  A) any 2 actions in turn, at least one of which puts chips into the pot.

That depends upon what you mean.

If anything, it should be noted that posting blinds is not action. After all, you can post the blinds whether you're at the table or not, so how can it be action?

I think adding a qualifying statement ("any 2 actions, other than posting of blinds, in turn...") would cover it.

I agree with Dave, I do not see blinds to be action.  Off course someone could probably argue that it is "forced action" or a "forced bet"...

Sorry, I can't believe we are even having this discussion. Blinds are never considered action. For those that think a change is required, I guess Gregg's answer would cover it.
