Has there been any thought of suggesting standard chip values?

Welcome English.

I would say that in most casino cash games, (at least in the US) the chips are pretty standard. Red=5's Green=25's Black=100's.

If you are referring to tournaments, I don't think that would be practical for most casinos. Tournament structures change constantly and, because they are chips, they may represent different amounts from one tournament to the next.  Cheques have a fixed dollar value throughout the casino. Chips can change in value; Roulette is a good example.

I know there are others who can give you more feedback on the subject.

It's hard to have a complete standard as many places have multiple chipsets.

Yea I suspose every Casino carries there own custom chip set so it would be kind of hard. I thought maybe a suggested standard outside a casino where custom chips are not used.  Most places use the same value for the 1, 5, 25 and 100 now anyway.
Anyways, It's great what the TDA does for standardizing rules, keep it going.
